Well, I thought we were a few weeks away, but I forgot about the 8 deer I live bred to Curly. We had our first fawns on Sunday. We got off to a good start with twin buck fawns!! Yippee! Can't wait till the A.I. babies hit the ground :)

Nice Steve!!! Christmas came early for you... great photos of your children with the fawns. We are on day 199 and the I can't believe that the AI girls haven't gone yet... they've been huge with big bags for weeks now. They will probably all have them at once on me. Congrats brother.

Michael, sounds like they're about ready to pop. I hope tonights the night :)

They probably will all go tonight... I have an interview tomorrow that I have to leave for at 6:30am. I'll check the pens right before I leave then should be home by about 11:00 or so. Everything will probably happen all at once, but that's the way I like it... keeps me busy! Good luck on the rest of the fawns Steve.

Steve, our partner in Hebbronville had fawns back in March. We AI'd the other does in Dec. Looks llike your buck is off to a good start. Good luck

Found these guys today before they could hardly stand. Twin buck fawns, MO Geronimo/grandsons of Jack the Ripper.

This is great, ;) let me show you my first deer fawns. The first photo is of my buch fawn, the second of my doe fawn and the third photo is of the proud parent, hahahahaha :) . I bought my first bred dow at the Pittsburgh show and she had trips but one was still born, a little buck. It feels so right and exciting. I am keeping them at a friends farm and they have been so wonderful. Anyway, I wanted to share these with you and now I have 3 deer :D

Wow, Looks like a lot of work Brian, I am sure it is fun though. Good Luck with them all.

I have 5 fawn's on the bottle and a full time job.It is about to kill me(hahaha).Brian my hat's off to you for bottle feeding that many fawn's.I am feeding Fox Valley and the fawn's look great, but I wish I could spend more time with them.Do you feed them by hand or do you have a divice you put the bottle's in.

I guess raising deer is your job from the look's of it.I hope I can get that way some day.I am jelaus(sp).Anyway,I wish you luck with all your fawn's.

P.S.I can not get enough of this deer farming stuff.Deer-aholic(sp)

Here are a few of our bottle feds. The ones with the casts were stomped by a mean doe.(Not mother) Casts are due to come off in one more week. Allen

Wow...

Brian You have a lot of great looking fawns...Wow ...I know kydeer is jealous...but I know how much work you have and I'm not jealous of that...I wouldn't wish that craziness on anybody.

I only have 15 on the bottle with three more moms to fawn that I want to pull...Between them and tagging and shots for all the one's I left on moms, I don't know if I am coming or going some days...More power and energy to ya...Best wishes ...wow

Hey Rusty, yea the doe that I found the buck fawn from; the next morning we found a doe fawn. both of my doe's had twins one doe and one buck fawn each. I have one yearling doe, that was in with a buck fawn so I don't know if she is pregnant. Also I bought a doe fawn, I have five fawns on the bottle.
