I prefer big typicals, what does anyone else prefer? and what is worth more as a shooter? Typical or Nontypical ???

Appreciate your opinion, Mike

As long as a nontypical is fairly balanced it will sell just as easily as a typical. Our bucks are sold by their score, so the higher the score the higher the price. Even bucks we thought were lopsided or narrow - someone likes them. There is a hunter for every buck. Every hunter's idea of a perfect animal is different. I can't tell you how many guys tell us they like typicals and then when they see a good looking nontypical they go for it. All hunting ranches need to have both for their customers.

I agree 100% with ya wild rivers! heard the same thing from a few hunting ranch owners!

ive been raising some pretty typicals, I mean pure typical, but i havent got to 200" with my 3 year olds yet ad I have found that I need to add some big nontypical genes to my herd to boost score cause although i love the look of my deer, they just aren't worth raising if they dont go 200"+ by 3 yrs old

Here is a 2 year old that will go around 190"

i like clean deer but it is much easier to grow 250 to 300 non typicals than it is to grow a 200 typical last year i sold a 200" 3 year old that only had 1 nontypical point for $4500 when i can produce 300" nontypicals and got $10000 you tell me what pays the feed bill
