Anyone have any information on how the Antler contest went?

I know they name the best yearling, 2yo, 3yo, and mature. Just wondering who made the top this year.

Also how did the big boys do? Do we have an official new world record?

Great news! KOM is a stud. Its always good to see an official score that close to the advertised score. Congratulations to Jerry and King of the Mountain. Lets hope he stays healthy does it again this year.

We are hoping that his half brother Kingfisher makes the jump at 4 like KOM did.;)

Don't know about those three Wayne. I do know Sun Canyon fell a few inches short of making the top list of 2 year olds. He was officially scored at 324 4/8". Add to that the 24" inches of points we have that he broke off during breeding and his final score would have been 348 4/8", that would have put him in the top 3. Either way, we were very happy with the score as we were advertising him at 338 5/8", we like to score conservatively so we don't have to explain why our bucks didn't measure up after being officially scored. Not bad for a 2 year old with a big frame!!!! I can't wait to see what he grows this year. Congrats to all the winners.

Daddy like has been one of my favorite bucks for a long time I am used to him being called Cherekee. So glad to see him on the top cause he is top of the line and I love that pedigree.

Congrats to King of the mountain. What happened to the other 600 inch big wigs?

Anyone have a pic of daddy like? First i have heard of him..sun canyon is a beast and i don't care what he scores..congrats

He used to be known as JFF Cherokee and used to be owned by Tim Jordan. He is a RDM Gunsmoke grandson on top and out of a RDM Fireball daughter on the bottom. His new owners Jerry and Johnathin Bell have him on page 62 in the Totally typical mag.

Thanks Richard. Can't wait to see what fawns we get out of him. Should be fun.

Little off topic but after seeing the Grizzly Shadow yearling. I dont think I have ever seen a small Grizzly son. I think he is very under rated in the industry. He just plain produces time after time.

TRUE!

However Grizzly's Shadow is Shadow over a Grizzly Niece...not exactly a direct Grizzly offspring. That still doesn't stop me from wanting some Grizzly offspring in my pens.

Thanks for starting this thread. I didnt get to make it down to Nadefa this year and cant wait to see some of the scores. If anyone remembers what some of the big Non typicals scored please post them.

Congrats to King of the mountain he is a stud! I heard New images replicas took 2nd GO G36!!
