Day 191 twin buck fawns out of Kelly (womb brother is Max Thrust) which is Maxbo on top of Butkus/Magnum AI'd to Bucky Jr
got my first fawns of the season today. buck and a doe . maxbo dream son(y-2) over ftw craker jack daughter (bl-40). I checked on her at noon today she was up and eating no signs of labor went back 3 hours later and there the was .

Sweet breeding Jenni !! Bucky Jr. on Max Thrust's Womb Sister. Max Thrust was 288" this year with a 24" inside and 30" beams. His daughters are really producing also!

Great cross David. We had a single out of Stranger/Max/Thunder/BJ a few weeks ago. I'm anxious to see how Stranger turns out this year.

I had a little surprise the other day... triplets (1 buck & 2 does). One of the does was a pied! I have never had one before and their is absolutely no piebalds in her background that I am aware of. She is out of Maxbo Air... the buck in my avatar. I have read on the forums that other people have had piebalds out of the Maxbo line once in a while.

Hey wayne we had twin doe fawns from rawhide today as well. They were out of our Rolex/Loner breeding, Again with our ny laws atleast one of these little girls will have to go.With Rawhide being loaded and then you have Ram Rod/ Walker/Mohawk/Holly and Maxbo supreme's mom in the pedigree i believe they will be keepers. If anyone is interested in one just get in touch!!!

I understand Mike, I'm sure a buck and a doe were what you had in mind! I know I did on my triplets.................If anyone is interested let me know on a doe fawn out Rawhide..................I can't keep em all!

This was pretty stressful but has worked out OK so far. Yesterday evening I had a Barry Bonds- HighRoller doe bred to Cardiac Kid that strarted trying to have fawns. She had 2 in about 30 minutes then spent the next 2 hours trying to have #3. I called in reinforcements (a friend that has raised deer for nearly 20 years) and we determined that she wasn't going to get it done on her own. We knocked her down and he pulled fawns #3 and #4. Both looked gone to me. He started CPR on both and by midnight he had both of them up and on their feet. As of this morning all 4 fawns and mom were doing great. 3 Bucks and 1 Doe. This is the closest thing to a miracle that I have experienced while raising deer.
