I just shot this video of Jailbird today down at Pear Orchard Whitetails. All I can say is that deer is unbelievable looking in person! Congrats to Barkley and Cole for doing it... again!

Now that is the way I like to see deer being bred... Even four generations later, Freedom/Rachet is contributing 50% of their blood, just as if they were the direct father to Jailbird.

Keeping it tight... I like it.

Another thread called,

Court Rules Law Banning Deer, Elk Unconstitutional

was started the evening of the 30th. This thread was started the next day. As of right now this thread has been viewed 2856 times while the other thread has been viewed 265 times.

I bring this up to direct attention to the idea that not enough people care about looking out for our ability to stay in business and have a free market.

Thanks for listening.

Hi Bruce, I saw him briefly while driving by the 2 year old pen, but I didn't get a great look at him. I'll let ya know if I get any pics of him on my next visit.

Roger,

I viewed that thread a couple of times and I see your point. I think this time of year brings in a lot of "visitors" that just come on and search for the antler growth threads. They may not even look at other parts of the forums. Not making excuses for anyone, just saying that the numbers may not be quite as bad as they seem.

Roger,

You are absolutely right......all these antlers and stuff mean nothing if our industry is shut down.........we all need to focus on where we are headed .........everyone should be reading the forums that talk about issues that could have a direct bearing on our industry....yes Antlers are what drives us but like i said....without the industry thye are worthless!! Make sure you know where your priorities are......but that doesn't mean quit sending the awesome buck pictures.....keep them coming too!!

Yes keep the pics of these really good deer coming. I like that Sunbo. Good mass, up and out frame, with extras for score and character. I really like him.

Michael, you are correct. There are a lot of visitors just on to look. Nothing wrong with those who aren't in the business knowing we get jacked around and we are getting tired of it, and those who are in the business need to wake up or they won't be in the business much longer.

Again, Sunbo is awesome.

Here are 2 yearling from Greg Lucas' farm. They are womb brothers out of Rolex on top and Loner doe on bottom. They have a great pedigree with quite a bit of growing to do yet.

Mike,

Those yearlings are real nice that Greg has. I have seen both a couple weeks ago, Impressive! There mother is Loner/502/Walter/Holly. There are a few full sisters to her and every yearling out of them regardless of sire has top 160+@1 and 200@2. Those Loner Does are hammers.
