Deformed Fawn?

This is a 4 week old buck fawn that was born with his twin when the doe was struck by a car and they were ejected from the womb. He has already had a twisted gut where he did not poop for three days. His posture has always been a little different but I thought he would grow out of it - as you can see he hasn't. He walks with a waddle and is very wide and short. He has been getting Dex for about one week with no improvement. He has no appetite unless he is recieving Thiamine and then he eats normally. I was wondering if anyone has ever seen anything like this or if you all have any suggestions about how to correct it. Thank you for any comments or thoughts you might have.

I have a friend that had deer crash the fence while pregnant...When the fawns were born they had bones that were broke in the womb and healed in the womb...

I have no idea what you are dealing with...or what the problem is but everything and anything is possible with these guys...Best of luck

yes I would say he suffered some internal damage when the car hit the doe........poor guy...it's hard enough raising a perfectly healthy fawn......he already has one strike against him....good Luck!!
