2014 Hard Antler Pics

The first 2 pics are the same buck and he is a Shadow Man son out of an Updraft daughter.
The 3rd and 4th pic is the same buck and is an Updraft son.
The 5th pic is a Lucky Ranger son.
The 6th pic is an Updraft son.
The 7th pic is an Electric Storm son.
They have all been sold as stockers except I kept the first buck ( Ruben ) to use as a breeder for some of my does. He has been estimated to score 225" @ 2. He is bottle fed so I won't sell him as a stocker, so I decided to keep him and give him a shot at proving his breeder value to produce quality stocker bucks for me. Plus I like his pedigree. His sire Shadow Man who I have kept so far as well is doing some breeding also this year. Shadow Man and Updraft share the same maternal grandma. ( Y-0289 ) Jonathan, if you look at the pedigree I think you will like the Patrick influence that is in the bottom side.

I didn't try to estimate his score myself but to only score estimated 225" Ruben is a huge buck! 225 doesn't sound like much these days but there are a lot of much smaller 225's out there.
I also wish I had got a better look at Shannon Thiex's Cardiac Kid / Titan's womb sister. I would but him in top 5 Cardiac 2 year olds I've seen. But like Triple Bypass, Maxbo XL, Lakota and a host of other great breeders 33 is the anchor so no surprise there.

After looking at that pedigree, I can see why that's a big yearling, Wowsers. If I bred a doe to that pedigree and she didn't produce a big buck, she'd be in the jerky pen for sure. Congrats on a great buck.
