Is that the huge old Big Red typical from the St.Cloud, Mn area?

Jonathan, he is Jesse James/5 Brow/Marty Graw/Chance Jr. He is throwing some big bucks for Bo Sparks. Hopefully he can do the same for us. And he has a cool name to boot.

Yosemite is getting around 15 doe on him he is a 2yr old Grizzly son.

The main breeders I am using this year are Triple Bypass up at Jarrod Washburn's place and my own buck named Ruben.


 


Triple Bypass was huge in 2013 at age 2 and again this year in 2014, and he has elements to his pedigree that I wanted. His early maturing, tons of bone pushing power is what I wanted as well. He is crossing with 4 does I took there to be bred and one doe I purchased from Jarrod specifically to be bred to him.


 


Ruben is only 2 years old and has a look I really like. He pedigree is stellar in my opinion as well. He isn't the highest scoring 2 year old around, but I am good with that. He is estimated at 225" at 2. He will be with only 3 adult does and with 3 doe fawns this year. Ruben's mother is an Updraft daughter and his sire is Shadowman. Shadowman is sired by Shadow and his mother is a Maxbo on Y-0289 who is the grandma to Updraft. Yes I double bred Y-0289 into the pedigree of Ruben.


 


I have been asked about semen from Ruben and there is none collected and I will not be collecting him.


 


Shadowman is still on my farm as well. He damaged his antlers this year at age 4 so I am holding him back another year. I am open to selling him, if anyone is interested you can email me.

Hate to kind of hyjack the thread, but how did Shadowman turn out at 3?  He was was a heck of a 2 year old.
