Hate to kind of hyjack the thread, but how did Shadowman turn out at 3? He was was a heck of a 2 year old.

Well Travis, Shadowman has an uncanny ability to trash a perfectly nice velvet set of nubs. He did at age 3 and he did it again this spring at age 4. This spring the gate to his pen was swinging just enough for him to stick his head through into the alleyway. Well when he pulled his head back into the pen he managed to smash both velvet nubs. Both sides grew out like a willow bush. I have no idea what kind of surprise awaits me next summer on his head. Thanks for asking.

ai'ed this morning. all 5 does looked good! . i'm still trying to gain more does. seems like i lose as many does every year as i have doe fawns to add! lost one to ehd, and saved one this year, so maybe i am starting to learn . i've spent enough money on does so will ai to produce my own superior does, ( sounds good in theory). my 4 best does , 2 are bred to Bucky, one to Gladiator XL, and one to Gladiator. last year we got 4 for 4 breeding ai. hope we can do as good this year. tom l
