It is with great loss that venado creek whitetails and star s ranch announce the passing of the great buck "2wide"
2wide succumbed to a bacterial infection in the small intestine on november 12, 2010. He fought off this illness for four hard days - walking inside the pushroom in the breeder facility and allowing staff to administer fluids and antibiotics. He displayed a tremendous will and fight to survive. Those that saw 2wide in life will remember seeing him prance across his domain with massive antlers held high and wide. 2wide was truly one of the great sires. His legacy will live on for many years in his offspring throughout the country. For generations we will see in his sons and the sons of his daughters that unmistakable width and tine length with the look everyone will remember.
