You guys still going at it? Dennis that bucks sons will be in 400 inches plus. Do you recall the good times in the ranch? Deep in the woods, the jeep stuck waist deep mud, with mosquitos the size of humming birds? After a few days Chad was checking trail cam shots and found this ugly buck walking out of the woods dejected. Hope this wins the contest
Oh yeah Scott that was a great tour of the preserve.....I'm still iching bug bites from that trip.........you really know how to show your visitors a great time. Your poor wife had to pick all of our stinking muddy butts up in her nice clean vehicle....I'm thinking she was happy to see us go!!! No Seriously it was a great time can't wait to come back this Fall.......If you plan a trip to Apple Creek...which I do highly reccomned......everything is awesome..just don't let Scott take you on any tours of the preserve...
You guys are hurting my feelings now. I sure wish old floppy would come back home he was my main breeder. Guess I'm just going to have to start raising real deer instead of goats.
I don't think they get any uglier than mine. As a fawn, he kept going to the wrong doe and trying to nurse. That doe would grab him by the ears and shake the tar out of him. I guess after so many "shakings" his ears became damaged and dried up and fell off. You think he would have learned after the first time or two. He is very small, most of this years fawns are as big as him already. Virgil, can he pass as a goat?
Jack, you win! That's an ugly buck with stupidity to boot! Maybe we can get a donor to sponsor a straw of cape buffalo semen to reward you for your excellent breeding program.
Thanks Rusty, but I really wasn't out to win. That's not an honor that I will cherish. I can say one thing about him, his spread is as wide as his ears. LMAO
He will definitely end up in somebodies freezer in the next few weeks.
Virgil, I am still interested in that piebald fawn. I don't care if he is a goat or not.
Jack I do have one deer in my herd that looks like that Virgil is right....but what he doesn't tell you is I bought it from him last year and it came from his herd (my big mistake) but trust me i would never......never ....never sell that sickly buck to anyone!!!!........you know what they say......you got to be careful on who you buy from..........I'd think twice about that piedbald fawn......it might have more goat blood in it than you think!!!!
