I came here 9 years ago about a fawn that jumped into a chain link fence at 6 weeks and broke his neck, He was paralyzed. Thanks to the support from y'all I was able to rig a body cast and fully rehab him. I also learned a buck should never be kept as a pet. At 4 months old he had a tragic "incident" with a banding gun He became a neighborhood icon, and brought so much joy to our neighborhood. Sadly, he passed this past October of old age. Thank you all for being such a great resource through the years. I especially want to thank the professional deer farmers who chimed in for his recovery. You are very busy folks and do not need to spend your time answering ammeter rescuers. Bert had a great life
