Yesterday I noticed a fawn with a problem wondered if anyone and any ideas about it. When it looks at you its head is at the 3:00 hour instead of strait up, it stay to the side all the time, I walked up to it and it tried to run and fell over, had little coordinetion, its tongue was hanging out of its mouth and its lower jaw was swelled up. I gave it some LA200, went to check on it this morning still the same head to the side tongue hanging out. Any ideas?

Sounds like trauma. Possibly hit the fence or collided with another fawn running and playing. Could be a fractured vertebrae, or dislocated one, or maybe just spinal cord inflamation pinching a nerve. I would give Dexamethazone and try to get an x-ray ASAP.

This is a classic symptom of a deep inner ear infection. Antibiotics now! do not wait. Give penG 5cc daily for 3-5 days. Take it;s temp too.
