Four Seasons Whitetails said:We are in the process of getting the funds together to take ours to court. The best part here is that one of our Dept of Ag guys believes DEC should be involved in cervids. Because of cwd and wildlife i believe he is right. They should be made AWARE of whats going on with deer because they do have to take care of our wild population but they should have no say as to any way a farm is ran.Dept of Ag can keep them abreast.
None of us want to see cwd in the wild so yes we all have to work within our own states, with our Ag Depts to do all we can to keep it under control.

Yes, we are all be concerned about keeping CWD under control in the wild and farmed herds. But a five year quarantine for infected/exposed animals, certainly is not the logical answer to keeping any disease under control!! Let's just put the owners out of business and keep the exposed animals on the landscape!
It's not about management, it's about the money. Which explains the release of the infected/exposed animals from Wind Cave just two months after we were required to destroy 225 head of whitetails at our hunting preserve and close our doors, again out of business.
