Another fawn another problem?!?!?

Hair loss in fawns is not that unusual when they are being bottle raised or have been weaned too soon. This is due to basically malnutrition, meaning there was something not present in the diet that was needed. It is usually a vitamin A or D deficiency. This can be solved by giving them a multi-vitamin supplement. One that works well and they really love are One-a-day "Flinstone" vitamins. I give one every 3 days until hair loss, or other symptoms clear-up. They love the flavor and will readily eat them as a treat.
Hi Scott... this makes sense and I have vitamins (chewable) on hand. But what would be helpful for lice or mites? Is there anything I can add to their corn or spray them to rid them of lice? Thanks!
