Back on page 8 of this thread I made an error. I had said that Pierce's had produced Lakota. They purchased Lakota from John Green. John actually purchased Little Patches and then produced both Lakota and his brother Dakota prior to selling out of the deer business. John leaving the deer business was a big loss. He is a standup guy.

Just felt I should make this correction. Thank you

I agree with Roger, John Green Sold me Rawhide who I still own, He was a 1st class asset to the Deer Business who had some GREAT Deer!

Thanks Mr Roger for clearing that up ! I didnt know the origin of Lakota. I just assumed that the Pierces had born him! I didnt know Mr. john but he must have had great genetics! It is obvious in our buck legend!

Here is an Arty 3 year old we really like.  I posted a pic of Arty himself @5 to compare.  I see a lot of similarities,  i am excited to see if he can live up to his sire.  The pics just do not do justice to show the mass and width on this 3 year old.  I estimate his spread to be 26-27" inside with lots of growing left.  He has always been a slow grower until july every year.

Lakota, Typhoon Maxbo XL and several other giants all have patches as the same anchor doe I believe. Tonto (Lakota's sire)is a bone pushing machine and had one of those great big northern bodies. The buck in my avatar is out of a Tonto son and was 300 inches at 2 with 60 inches of mass and 30 inches wide. Pierce's have produced a BUNCHA giant deer out of those Tonto, Lakota, Matrix and Maxbo Bucky lines. These are Lakota's 5 year old cut offs, I think one weighed 16 pounds and the other 18, that's some serious mass..

They all go back to Theix's 33 doe. Typhoon is one of my all time favorite bucks. I bought 3 does last year that go back to Titan's sister (PJ/33) for that reason. One I look forward to outcrossing is Sundrop / Lakota / Titan sister.

I couldn't agree more Travis. That #33 is awesome. I have one doe line that goes back into Titan's sister and thus far even though her bucks are young she is making some really nice pretty deer.

Sudden Explosion / Jett sis. @ 3 yr.

I don't see a pic showing up. Jett had a great look. I have a doe that goes back to Jett's sister so I'd like to see it.
