Sorry if folks don't like this post. I was asked today about this buck so it got me thinking about him again. This buck is not from this year or even very recent for that matter.
This buck was a boy I produced several years back. A Maxbo son out of a Fless doe. (Butkus/Magnum/Louie)
His name was Max Thrust and in this pic he scored 288"
He was used very little by me and not much either by his final owner (Adam Rowland of Bluff Country Whitetails)
Max Thrust was an unreal producer. I am not aware of any sons less than 250"
Unfortunately he was during a time when chasing the hyped breeding market was the thing to do and thus he was not used as he should have been. I would love to have him back now and breed every doe I have to him each year.

We did draw on him but never had much success getting good quality semen. There were a few straws, but to my knowledge it has all been used up. I wish I had some to use these days.

One boogered up his antlers pretty good last year and this year as well.... They won't win any antler contests but they'll win all the color ones...! Semen will be available this Fall...
