Jerri Lee,Having his cut-offs still on is an indication of his great overal health and body condition coming out of winter as well as his genetics but mostly condition. How many wild bucks carry theirs into April? I would be more conserned if next year he sheads in February. He will grow a great set of antlers with a healthy well conditioned body this spring. He is just waiting for the grass to turn green.Ha,Ha

great to hear that the drug is working, I'm thinking that I may have to use this as well, as of this morning both bucks still had them attached, getting a little nervous that it may mess up this years antler growth

I would worry if a buck sheds one side and the other side starts to grow. The side that shed last will turn sooner than the other and will affect the final spread. When one side sheds prematurely it usually indicates infection or irritation around the pedicel.Dont put much stock into the spread of a buck who has shed one side earlier than the other. He probably would have been substantially wider.
