I received your e-mail and informed you while you were here that I have been so busy helping with the Whitetails of Oklahoma sale (over 100 hours), NADeFA cervid congress, helping write the updated NADeFA Ethics rules, helping write the new NADeFA Fair Chase Hunting Ranch White Paper, helping write the new NADeFA Hunting Ranch Operator Guidelines, writing the new Whitetails of Oklahoma video story board for Keith Warrens show, working behind the scenes on issues I can't discuss here, answering numerous calls a day about how to treat sick deer, answering lots of e-mails about treating deer, showing my deer, bottle feeding, feeding & watering deer (6 hrs a day in summer), working on legislation for various places, being on conference calls for Whitetails of Oklahoma, NADeFA and the Hunting Ranch Council, and when I have time: try to get my own deer to remain healthy, prop up my fence until that future date that never comes to fix it, put boards to prop up my shed that collapsed from the ice storm last winter (must fix somewhat before this winter), book hunters for my leases and my Fair Chase Hunting Ranch behind my house, check all of my fawns with binos everyday(about 80 of em), spray my pens, mow around pens and weedeat electric fence, fight crows, coons, possums, skunks, bobcats, coyotes, armadillos and dogs, talk to my wife in passing once a month, fill feeders on my leases, go 45 miles once a week to pickup feed and attend all the functions I can.(I could have kept going but I must go bottle feed) Anyway You know I love you and will respond asap, but I do suspect some of the other people are in the same boat with me. See this is my life. Its what I do. I am proud to be a deer farmer and am not complaining but I and I'm sure others are swamped.===== Jay Don,----Good to see you at the sale. I did not know your parents were there or I would have stoped over to say hi. Tina told me they were there. I havent been here for the above reasons and I could not post. Anyway the sad part of the whole deal is James Hail had to tell me what I was doing wrong. Now thats just downright embarrassing. James the computer guru. Tim, you know I love ya to. And besides, why wouldn't I buy semen from you? The last semen I purchased from you got me back $36,000 in sales with just 2 fawns. I can deal with a return like that every day of the week and twice on Sundays!

Reed and Deerchaser, I fully agree. This forum was set up to be HELPFUL and allow social interactions for people that have questions and need advice.
I personally have had several issues with that I have requested help with, and very few people have replied. I have seen several post requesting help and those didn't receive any replies. I personally have seen some of the BIG BOYS on here that have only blogged to show off their yearlings. Anyone can see every posting that a member has made. Just click on their member name and you can read every posting they have ever made. You will be surprised by the lack of help that these guys refuse to give. Perhaps they don't even care to look at those areas of the forums. That is even more disappointing.
I made it a habit to check the forums atleast twice a day to see if I can give someone advice. But lately, all that it on here is LOOK AT MY BUCK !!! I have been so frustrated and disappointed that I don't check the forums much at all anymore. And I rarely look at those advertisement blogs.

OK, I'm gonna say it, some of the "Big Boys" arent hands on owners and probably dont know the answers to some of the questions on here. There's a difference between a "big boy" and an "old timer" too. They bought their genetics and they pay somone to take care of them and theres nothing wrong with it but dont be upset that some people dont reply to posts. Theyre marketing their deer on here as we all have a right to do. Its like anyone else on here, if your offended, just log the comments some make in your memory and remember them when it comes time to buy semen. This may be an opportunity to see somes true colors, as I think some of us already have........
As for Tim, I got all excited to read his post hoping there may be some little tidbits in there and it was just him saying how busy he was. I know I'm glad we as deer farmers have someone that knowledgable representing us and our rights the way he does. To me thats worth the sacrifice of not having his knowledge on here at times.

Maybe we should acknowledge the HELPFUL BOYS/GIRLS.....to me they are more important. Not taking away from anyone of course cuz I do enjoy the pictures as much as anyone else.
To me, though, the people that have helped me, personally, are far more important and GREAT people than anyone else right now.

I always have an opinion, so anything you want touched on let me know. I never post pictures because I would have to call James to help me and I already explained how embarassing that is. Although I think I did send some to Roger once. I like Roger because he's married to Laurie. ----Heck Jack--- I am glad to know I can click on my name and get my posts. I have forgot some of my remedies. I am going to try to be here more. But i was serious about James having to tell me how to post again. I thought Russell had banished me for some reason.
