Bucks Sheding

I have a 2 year old buck here (PA) that has not shed neither sides yet. Is this something to worry about? I also have a friend that has a yearling that is 5 in. away that has not either. Should i be worried? Let me know what ya all think. Thanks again!
 
My buck - Jimmy 2 just shed today and last year I had one buck shed the first week of April. Don't think you have anything to worry about unless they are cut-offs.
 
The latest we have ever had one shed is April 7, and he was the first one to start growing. Its OK.
 
Low rider didn't shed till Mid May last year then got sick and didn't do to well last year. He shed Feb this year and can't wait to see what he duz. All of my older bucks shed only have 5 more yearlings to go. You will be fine nothing to worry about.
 
I agree nothing to worry about. We still have three and a half yearlings that haven't shed yet. Our three year old shed two weeks ago and the rest of our yearlings have been shedding this week.
 
H&M Whitetails...just that one year I had a buck that was cut off and it didn't shed for some reason. By the time I realized what was going on, it was too late to do anything. It all turned out ok but he did have a weird rack that year. He did just fine this year.

hey guys i appreciate all the input but they still have no dropped. the temp. has been changing a little but here so i dont know it that has anything to do with it. we will see what happens here in the next couple of weeks.



Any input on the shot to give to change the horomones to make them drop?
 
There is a med you can dart them with but for the life of me I cant remember the name of it. I'll try to get the name up on here if I can. But there is still time. Deep breaths sometimes help ( not the deer but you lol)
 
Our last breeder shed his antlers last week - those are all of the bucks we didn't saw. Some of the sawed ones still have their buttons.
 
I'm pretty sure I'm down to the last buck in north central MO (on my farm, at least) who hasn't thrown his rack down-of course, the ones you want to drop first come off last. :(
 
my 9 have all dropped both sides with the exception of 1, he has been walking around with half his rack for about 2 weeks, on some of my really tame ones that I can get really close to, I can see are already are showing new growth, almost out of the hairline but not quite.
 
The shot some give is the same hormone you give when you ai a doe. Dr Donely from Ohio said it may or may not work it has never been studied or proven but, when given to a buck once he shed within that week could have been a coincidence.
