i think i know the answer to this question BUT gonna ask anyhow...does it matter if cidrs are pulled at 13 days ..or even 15 days...vs the standard 14 days?..i would think not but i'm a newbie on doing this myself.

I had planned on inserting wednesday for 14 days..but told all the guys helping me we were doing it thursday... which would be 13 days..does it matter???

thanks,

It would not matter much 12 to 14 days is required and 15 will not hurt anything.

I have personally done AI for someone who didn't have any other choice but to have them in for 12 days. We still hit 75% success on 12 does. I have also had good luck with 16 days on one occasion. I do try to aim for the 14 day mark, the advantage of CIDR's in my opinion is the fact that they have a pretty broad window where they are effective. They allow you to work around your animals schedule, and the weather! Lord only knows I feel like doing AI on deer in 40mph wind and rain just as much as they probably do. If you are able to move your AI date one or two days because of bad weather, do it!
