I think the long haired ole coot must have had a memory laps or he`s been sniffing the Tetradure and drinking Goat`s milk. He forgot his phone # again. He got that phone number off the restroom wall down in Texas. He saves that phone # for when he`s out on the town and fallen and can`t get up. He knows a Buckeye will pick him up. :D

Quit laughing ya old fart !!! :)

What you guys do with sharing all of your valuable information helps us new deer farmers out so much. I read all forum daily just to gather information from guys like you. THANK YOU

Excellent Scott! I thank you and everyone else will to! Deer farmers newest member J ennifer will be in touch with symptons. Poor girl spending the summer with us in the fawn barn, so she will send info. Welcome Jen, looking forward to working with you and the info you can add to these forums. ZZ

Mitch, I figured my wife has it the worst hands down till I read 37 yr's! Of course 37 yr's with you hell she's liable to be brain dead! (don't let her read this) I will deny it! ZZ

Too late ole boy she`s standing behind me. And I showed her your picture so it burns in her brain. Brain dead hell, I needed a medal!!!!! Ouch !!! I should have wait until she left.

Scott I`m impressed. Very well put and this info right here will save many deer that may have just been lost without it.

We just saved a doe a week ago that I suspected listeria. She did abort but I think that was mother nature`s way of saving herself.

Scott,

OK here's the second excerpt. Once again, I must state that the insertions into this log are for general information and not published as a method of treatment, nor as a diagnostic document. None of the diseases, causes or treatments of the issues discussed in this document should be given without consulting your veterinarian first. the recommendations in this document are not necessarily endorsed by SSS-GRS or its associates. SSS-GRS and its associates shall not be liable for the contents of the following document. The document includes the information listed on the previous insert, so you can delete the one prior to this one. I plan to keep the document "evergreen" and have the last posting as the most up to date and complete copy of the list.

ZZ I have been fortunate to meet some of your "students" over the years. I must compliment you on being able to give these young people the blessing of your vast experience and knowledge. I don't know how much interaction you have with them when they move on to other jobs, but those I have spoken with are quite knowledgable in their trade and attribute much of their learnings to you. The future of our industry is the youth in our communities. I am always enlightened when I see "kids" getting into deer farming. Well done!

Man Scott thank you! Getting approval from one of your peers is the best compliment a man can get, it sure makes your day! The feeling of respect goes both ways, the work you have done with FFA and the info on these forums that you have shared, well thanks isn't enough. We will be blessed with 5 interns this year and I hope we can point them in the right direction. When I started doing seminars at TDA and NADEFA did I finally realize I had something to offer. That old saying "if it wasn't for tommorrow what are we doing it for" speaks volumes. The young people are the tommorrow for us and without them we're done. Keep up the good work Scott and everyone else get the kids involved! Thanks Scott for all you do! ZZ

I have wrote the numbers down because all day I have surfed the net and called "closed veternary clinics" and spent 3 day worrying about this little fellow I have! although I am sleep deprived I think the people who have posted back to me have helped me come to the conclusion that so far he is doing good! God bless you all! and THANKS
