I purchased this from TSC its Corona Multi-Purpose Ointment, says its for horses, cattle, dogs and cats. My pet buck was bleeding from his rack yesterday, i put this on the cut and he went CRAZY!!!!!!!!!

The smell i think so close to his nose made him nuts...he begab running around like he had lost his mind. I gave him some of his cookies trying to clam him down and he snapped at my hand like a dog would bite you. My doe was close by and when she smelled my hand she snapped at it like a biting dog as well. This stuff is a DISASTER..........I watched them in my cameras for the next hour going and going. This morning all was well thank GOD.

product contains:

Lanolin 30%

Beeswax

Disodium EDTA

Fragrance

Lanolin Alcohol

Mineral Oil

Oxyquinoline

Petrolatum

Purified water

Sodium Borate

Sorbitan Sesquioleate

Just wanted to make sure no one else used this.....................

Strange.. I wonder what one in that list made them go crazy!!

thats why i put it on this site....you should have seen them both try to bite me....they meant business too! the smell drove them insane.

I never seen a deer bite at something like a dog, only heard of it. Not saying I don't believe it, cause I do believe it, it's just to witness it would be crazy in and of itself.

Wonder if it was the beeswax...and I wonder what the ''fragrance'' was!?!

Good of you Kentuckynet to put out the warning.

I have 17 year old doe, wondering if that stuff might give her some of the get up and go that has got up and left her. lol

The whole ordeal was unbelievable! These are pets they come when i call them like my face and just love people! These two deer were CRAZY! It was like cat nip or something it was hard to watch for sure. The snapping like a dog was the weirdest thing of all.

I really felt bad and just wanted to make sure no one else used this product. It does have a strong smell and it just says fragrance.

Hi, my buck broke a tip. I almost bought that. But something said no. I put a spray on him called Blu-Kote. I have not seen Any flies. If there is an infection or a possibility of an if infection. Since everything is blue what should I be looking for?

I hope it is ok that I added this question.

There is another spray called Catron, I think thats the spelling of it. It kills the Maggots if there is any and it keeps the flys away. That blu-Kote will wear off and you need to look for the dark black color of velvet and the little jokers under the velvet!

Thank you I will get some. I am fortunate that he is tame. And I am able to keep applying it. And there has been no flies.
