This is the same buck I had Roger P. post on watch'em grow 2 or 3 weeks ago. He shed January 16th. I figured he would not be as good this year because he would finish to soon. He was around 240 last year at 3. I was just hoping for him to hit 200 this year after the early shed. I think he'll be ok on that one. I have never had or seen a buck this big this time of year. I know he won't finish on top but dang he sure is big for now. That is MaxiRip in the picture with him. Just for reference, MaxiRip was 250 last year. I've always said, you better brag while you can so I am bragging.

Impressive..... but may make for an interesting situation come late July or August if he sheds a full month or so before the others... Nice problem to have though....

last year, I had a buck start in early march and grew fast, he was done growing the 1st week in july, he shed velvet 1st or 2nd week of August. He was only a 110" 2 year old shooter though. That buck is incredible Tim.

Tim is that buck the same buck you was telling me about last year, there was two bucks you had in a auction book.

Wicked-- He was bustin brows about Mar. 1st. ---Thanks all for the compliments. I hope he grows to the first of July cause he's addin about 10 inches a day right now. That would put him scoring about 560. Ha He is already a big buck though, like Darren said. He won't end up as being even close to the biggest bucks in the country, but he's big enough to interest someone lookin through a scope.----Steve--- He's not a buck I was talking to you about. I was going to shoot him last year and he shed in the night before his release day. He's tryin to dodge a bullet I guess. Just some more of those crappy ol Dan genetics.

Tim

Did you take some of those crawdads home with you from La and feed to him. Now you know our secret formula.

Tim that is a tremendeous buck no matter where he ends up.

I intend on using that straw of Straight Up next season. Hopefully they are carrying some of the same genes.
