we put CTC in our feed year round.

We keep it in our feed year round.......one bag per ton.

We double that several times a year.......when our herds hormone levels change

(antlers dropping, severe weather changes we know are coming and velvet shedding are a few examples) We keep it on hand and top dress and mix it into fawn feed for coughs or at weaning time when they are under stress of weaning from mom.

We LOVE it and it is a BIG BIG part of our herds health!:)

I too have it mixed in my feed 50# Aureomycin to 1 ton of feed. You can also top feed it. It will not harm bred does. I have done this ever since I started raising whitetail, I have never had a case of respitory issues of any kind, (knock on wood). Cheapest preventive there is. This is a small enough amount the venison is still safe for human consumption per Federal quide lines.

We use it occasionally. Not sure giving an antibiotic all the time is a good idea. They may build up a resistance, just the way people do.

I mix it in our feed a couple times a week when the weather is up and down I agree giving it everyday they will build a immunity to it just as you would if you took Tylenol everyday eventually it wouldn't work as well
