would it work to use a casterated buck in a doe pen to watch for mounting to determin when the doe is in heat then being able to only have to dart her once then to  ai rather then three times. I will not get my building up in time. or dose anybody have an idea or pics of a chute set up in a pen or ally. I just cant visualize how to make it work. I do have a papa chute that's it

That would prolly end up being more work then running em thru the chute. Depending on what your goals are, you can probably buy a dam good breeder buck and have better fawning. Ai is alot of work and has a bunch of variables that all need to work, unless you do it yourself, most of the good Ai people are all tied up most breeding seasons and are hard to get lined up unless your really close to another farm. How many does are you talking about breeding?

Biggest problem I see is you will not see them breed.  I have lots of does and very seldom see a buck mount the doe.  Tending yes but actual breeding not so much, they could tend a doe for days.  Breeding would indicate standing heat which is what you would be looking for.  Not a good idea in my opinion.
