Missouri Conservation Department whom brought elk into Missouri to restore the elk population recently has made a move that is disturbing. Much talk of how these elk were handled and brought into Missouri has been made especially in the manner and in not wanting any deer brought into Missouri.
Someone has now shot and killed an elk and took the horns and left the animal.
The Missouri Conservation took the elk to THEIR research center for an autopsy!!!!
I want to know why it is not being taken where deer farmers have to send their deer when they die for CWD testing? Are they afraid they may find it has CWD?? They should not be allowed to do that testing where results could be never told to the public.
