does anyone ever use excede for pneumonia? i usually use nu-flor but it just doesnt seem to be cutting it this time. also does anyone ever use more than what the box recommends for dosage? ive been around hogs and i know a lot of people use about 1/2 cc more than what the box says. i wasnt sure about doing it with deer though.

You want to try Baytril (Enrofloxacin) to hit the pneumonia. Excede is typically used to treat skin diseases. Baytril is considered first-line antibiotic for pneumonia. Some vets even nebulize their really sick deer with it.

you can write [email protected] for dosage guidance.

exceed is extremely effective on pneumonia. We use 2cc per 100lbs.

You can not dart it though!!!!!!!

If it goes directly in a vein it could kill your animal.

If you choose to dat/treat, use draxxine.

Found out the pneumonia we have is resistant to nu flor and draxxin. Its Ecoli pneumonia. How you can manage to get that is beyond me

I use it mainly for pneumonia and I hit fawns with 1cc and adults with 2cc every other day works great for us.

And I dart it be doing it for three years and a buddy of mine has been doing it for yrs and never had a problem but it's up to you.
