www.whitetailsales.com has a great product that I have used for the last 3 years. It is called All Natural Correction and it is a gelling product. It is the only thing that I have found that actually helps with loose stools. I use it in every bottle for one day for all feedings and by the next day, they are usually firm and most start to pellet. It does not help with a coccidia infested fawn though. I usually cut the milk replacer in 1/2 for the day too. It is an awesome product and I can't say enough good about it!!
When I go to the website it says the domain is for sale. Where else can I purchase this product?

Billie Jo is right the best thing you can do is take a sample to your vet and have them send it off to be cultured.........you don't want to treat something if it does not need treated......this is why when my fawns started having loose stools I sent it off to be cultured and in my case it came back positive for coccidia not good....so now i am trying to aggressively treat the fawns for coccidia.............there are many reasons for the scours and sometimes it could be something that just didn't agree with them which is what i hope is the case for your fawn..........good luck!!
I have 2 fawns I just released into the pen with my goats. I had 1 of my goats I just lost to coccidia and now 1 fawn is scoured. Should I treat her with corid as well and if so what dosage? I've been rehabilitating fawns my whole life but always used one of 2 formulas, but this time I'm having to do it a little different. They've been on straight red cap whole milk, but have not been handled as much as my ones in the passed. So when I released them into the pasture they were difficult to catch. The older one I'm not worried about. She's old enough to eat solid food as well, but the younger one I was only able to catch because she had gotten weaker over a couple of days. Now I've brought her back in and realized she is scoured and I'm concerned about the coccidia but also if maybe I should try and give her powdered Similac for sensitive stomachs. Anyone have any thoughts on using the baby formula? It seems it might have more vitamins and minerals I would think. Plus the probiotics. I know I would have to switch her gradually and I've been giving electrolytes but just curious if anyone has used baby formula successfully?
