Congrats to every one fawning this spring. We had two does fawn two weeks ago.

Buck & doe fawn. Maxbo Ranger/GB Buckster/GB Magnum ll/Geronimo half sister Unfortunatly the buck fawn must have got stepped on because there was a small cut in the side of his gut and had blood coming out of his mouth.

Two doe fawns out of Hardcore from a Maxbo Ranger/Cardinal/Charlie doe

Unfortunatly had 3 other does AI'd to Ranger I'm guessing didn't take so were backed up to Amos Kauffman's Bolt Action. He is a nice two old Maxbo Son.

So they will fawn next week.

Best of luck to all. Stevie Stoltzfus Jr.

I am all done as of today, I had twin doe fawns last night. I finished the year with 6 bucks 9 does, I was hopeing for more bucks, as i am haveing trouble selling doe fawns this year. I dont want so many and seems no one else does either, so I am going to cut back and only have 2-3 bred does next year. Please check the vendors and sellers page I have the 2 does born last night for sale, some of the best genetic fawns born here this year.

We had two does born yesterday. Zeus (an RCM Noble son) had given us 8 buck fawns in a row and finished up yesterday with twin does. These fawns are from a J-44 granddaughter. She always gives us the biggest and best fawns every year.

Second set of fawns born yesterday. a buck and a doe out of Dream Tonto over Captain. thats 2 bucks and 2 does so far.

had my first doe.this morn gonna pull tonight.love it single all i can find, live bred DC

Dc I wouldn't pull till tomorrow morn....let the fawn get the colostrum it needs ..........i don't think it will make it much harder for you to get it started on the bottle and it will really benefit from that extra time on mom.........just my opinion!! Glad to hear you had a baby fawn...enjoy!!!

We're just rookies, but that was the advice we got, too, DC. We pulled our doe fawn about 30-36 hours after birth (she was born overnight, we're not sure exactly what time). She was easy to pull and easy to get started on the bottle. Plus, she got all the colostrum she needed from mom. Congrats on the fawn! God Bless!

dennis he musta been 3 or 4 days, run like hell.mowed all pens i can barely check hurt got to get back in house ,i saw in morn. like to never found in eveining, wife and me we had to corner him, had little trouble getting to suck but all is good now, mowed all doe pens so dont happen again, maybe week old tail up run like hell! DC

I had a doe in labor all day yesterday. Checked on her every few hours until dark and no fawn. Went out to check first thing this morning and had twins. First fawns ever to be born on my farm!! Not sure if they are buck or doe yet. At lunch today i will tag them, sex them, paste them ect.....

Congrats on your first fawns. How exciting is that. I still remember my first fawns. Alpha and Charolette 11 yrs ago and I still remember seeing them for the first time. The most beautiful things in the world. Love at first sight. Hope all goes well with them.

Split creek you guys are hooked now!!!If you have kids get them out there with those fawns and watch their eyes light up!!!I know mine do every time, its just like xmas and if your wife is anything like mine after you do the dirty work of taging and such she will take over like a mother hen!!!Congrats!!!!

Thanks Sandy and Mike.It was love at first sight. I could not believe what i was looking at when i first saw the two fawns! Turns out they are twin sisters. Mike i have 3 boys 5, 7, and 8 years old. I did take them out and show them the fawns last night. My wonderful wife let me take the fawns in the house and she held them for me while i tagged and did everything needed. Everybody is very happy at Split Creek Trophy Whitetails!!!
