a buddy and I split a straw of Max semen in two doe....we got 5 MAx buck fawns between the two of them.....pretty happy with the outcome!! Hope they grow up to be as popular as their Daddy!!

Wayne has a empty trailer and will travel to take ALL UNwanted fawns off your hands...lol
Mike, when I first started in the business, I could only dream about some of the great bucks and does that everyone else had. Like Wayne said, set a plan, stick to it and you will get there too. Our program has been about 5 years in the works. Best of Luck.

ya.....lets hope the old guy still left some of his magic for me!! i am thinking at least one out of 5 should at least be somethin........the triplets are Max/Sundance and the other two are Max/Maxbo so they got some good stuff running through their veins!!

I asked Laurie last night how the girls were looking and she said she is hoping for another week before they start dropping.
We don't have many does here that actually belong to us, but here is the breakdown of what we are expecting soon from our group of does.
1. Poncho was used in Dolly which is Updraft's mom. No doubt she took! She always does and was plump already when I left home for training.
2. Poncho and Bubbles which is Bucky and Little Pebbles. Not sure if she took. If not Updraft bred her. I can take that
3. Shadow and Grace. Grace is Maxbo and Y0289 the grandma to Updraft. Laurie figures she will be one of the first to fawn so it looks good.
4. Shadow and Kelly. Which is the womb sister to Max Thrust and is Maxbo on a Flees' Butkus/Magnum/Louie. She took the first 2 years we A/I'ed her so I expect she will again but only God knows for sure.
Updraft of course backed all these girls up, and then live bred,
2 Avalanche does.
1 Tomahawk doe.
1 Max Thrust doe.
We also have a Tonto/PA Geronimo doe live bred to Matrix. Thanks much Ron and Mary!
And a Rolex doe who's grandma is GD Romeo's mother and she was live bred back to Romeo. Thanks also to Glenn Dice!
The does we don't own were all live bred to Updraft except for one was A/I'ed to Icon and backed up to Shredder.
Shredder is a coming yearling buck out of Shadow and Grace. Grace again is Maxbo and Y0289 which is Updraft's grandma on the dam side. Shredder is owned by Cola Blanca. Thanks very much Michael!

Thanks Allen.........Scott we will be bottle feeding the max fawns!! They are stubborn little things!! I like to have a few buck fawns that are bottle fed...they help keep all the others calmed down and less stressed. Hope everyone is having a great fawning season!!

Allen, i am so excited I got her, and with 6 more does yet to deliver, who knows how many more I could end up with. So how are things looking at your place. Did you get any little ones yet? I always look forward to pics of your pieds every year. I will post a pic of my girl when i get a chance, I have been very busy, besides checking for fawns I am adding on to my deer barn, I needed a place to store more hay.

Well it finally happened! We board deer for some out of state folks one owns Maxin A Like and one of his does had a buck and a doe fawn both real nice! Makes them Maxin A Like a Maxin/Flees Bart doe on a Highroller/Bucky doe! Maxin a like will have his first sons on the ground this year! He was 4 before he ever bred any does. If anyone is interested in fawns or semen let me know! will pull the doe fawn tonite and will be waiting on the rest and then mine it gonna be fun!

Congrats guys, i have another in labor tonight, after tomorrow I will be half done for the year.
Allegheny Whitetails just had our first 2010 fawn. A big single Dream Ranger doe fawn from a Max/RDM Goliath/Maxbo full sister (OR 120) doe. 1 down 39 more bred does to go. Thanks Curt & Will.
Just had a nice big PJ buck fawn about two hours ago......nice, big and healthy......like the ratio this year so far........4 bucks to one doe.........with lots to come!!
had my first set of ai fawns today 1 buck and 1 doe they are out of a bk12 doe aied to elbondie also founf 2 dead beleived to be from this same cross as last year she had quads for me and my othe 2 does still look pregnant

We just had our very first fawns.Twin buck fawns from a double avalanche bred doe with ridgeline/avalanche doe bred to roosevelt who is from rolex/blitzen doe.Thank you to birch creek whitetails,I guess we cant ask for a better result for first fawns!!!!!

I found my first fawn as a deerfarmer today, I think the last time I was this excited was when my kids were born. It was a Noble buck fawn.
