Fawn's eyes

Hi, all,

We had a 1st-time mom have triplets yesterday. Good sizes - 7 lbs. 4 oz. buck, 6 lbs. 8 oz. doe, 5 lbs. 5 oz. buck. Smallest buck still doesn't have his eyes open. Never heard of this. A cattle farmer said she's had early calves the same way who opened their eyes 2-3 days later. His belly is full every time we check. Any ideas?

Take a warm cloth and place over the eyes for about five to ten minutes at a time. It will help to loosen the eyelids. Gently massage them open. Good Luck
