Personally I don't care whether the borders are opened or closed but do not want to start an arguement over that issue. To me the fight should be to allow high fence hunting in all states, then you would not need to ship your deer halfway across the country to sale them. If you think about it, the states without high fence hunting are effectively closed to anyone that raises shooters now.
There will come a day when the nuts in charge realize that CWD is not the end of the world and then it would be easier to open the borders but for now my interest is to be sure the preserves can stay open in my state. The groups fighting the high fence hunting know that if they can block the hunting in a state they have effectively blocked breeders out because there is no outlet for the final product. Once all states ban high fence hunting what difference will it make if the borders are opened are closed!
I would bet without knowing that there is a lot more states that do not allow high fence hunting than states with closed borders. While we spin our wheels arguing over the borders the activists are trying to block the hunting portion of our business. Without hunting you are gone!
