tractor supply out of grand forks was the best price I found, when I bought but you have to order like six rolls now when I checked a year ago

That might be something to look into for next year. With less than a month of workable weather we need to get a pen up now so we can get them home.

The 2 courses of 4 foot will work fine. You can get game fence (smaller holes at the bottom) in 4 foot. I basically build an 8 foot fence, but use 2 strands of 4 foot. I have had fallow for 4 years, and not lost a single one to the fence...

One question... Why fallow? good for meat, but not that much in demand..,

I just talked with a friend and he raised fallow for many years and he said six foot is all that was required for fallow. If you talk to Jim S you can ask him for Tim's Number I don't have his new one and forgot to ask when I seen him at Menards today.

Hardpan, the price is right.

Bryan, the Board of Animal Health demands an 8 foot fence for ALL cervids, even muntjac deer. Its to keep whitetails from getting INTO the pen and coming in contact.

Hey Bryan, could I come over some time and see your pen system? I was on your site but didn't see any photos of your operation or deer. Just trying to get ideas for our pens. Thanks!!

I have 8' deer wire and t-post in stock. We deliver all over the U.S. You can use the four foot wire on top of each other but you have to caculate the extra labor. Call for materials. Texas Tuff Fence Co 256-702-0246
