I have been buying goat milk from the local store for years now paying around $ 4.00 for 12 oz . I talk to a local milk goat farmer about paying the milk from them. The ? is. If the goats are have any health problems will that be in the milk ? We are going to be bottle feeding around 30 fawns next year tring to cut cost. But want to keep the fawns health too. Thanks for your time, Rodney

You should pasturize cause disease can be spread if not pasturized.

Thanks Virgil can you boil the milk then let it cool down for next day feeding? Will that work?

Rodney, I feed goats milk too. This past season I feed 34 fawns three times a day. On avg. I used 11-13 gallons a day. Check with Dairy Tech out of Colorado. We purchased a 30 gallon unit from them and it works great. Good luck

Thanks Michael ,do you have contact number ? Buying goat milk from the store here is killing me at the price im paying. Thanks Rodney and thanks to all for helping me out

i got a price from a guy in pa , and it was 6 a gal, ( wow ) what i said, i just stuck with red cap, 2 $ a gal , but goat milk is the way to go . the curd is smaller, then cows ,

Dairy Tech 1 (866) 384-2697. It is pricey. I pay $ 3.50/gal from my lady. We are getting a GREAT deal from her due to the fact that we purchased the pastuerizer and about 8reg. Nubian does to add to her herd. It helps her and it REALLY helps me. WIN-WIN
