This response is typical of our industry. I asked for help about a month ago and over 600 people looked at the request and only 7 people responded. I thank those that did respond and shame on you who wouldn't help a fellow farmer. There are a lot of people who expect someone else out there to pay their share of the bills. Sad but true. Positive PR is all that will save this industry. Heck guys just sit on your 100 bucks and you can all have a big hobby like I have here in Montana since 2000.
I don't make much money out here but will donate 100 in a month or so when a few bucks come in.

Thanks Jack, I wondered how many would send a note on your behalf, I did but figured the numbers would be low. Its just a reality, a lot of people will just sit back and let the few of us fight for ourselves and them. I guess I would rather have the silent ones over the people and some organizations that talk a lot but don't do anything unless its for a buddy or for political reasons. A lot of people are getting a free ride till the borders shut down or they get left behind when the s**t hits the fan.

Been there,Done that. Picture a state with 486 deer farms and ranches asked to come to a meeting to speak to the very person that could pull the plug and close your border. Lets just say a 12 pack was more than enough for drinks! We are now closed!!! Sad!
I can only speak for Indiana because I have been in this fight since day one. The real reality is going to hit home when these guys with very good breeding stock are selling high dollar genetics for meat price ($100). There are 300 breeders and only 4 preserves. When the borders close the ones who have helped will still get market price but a lot wont be able to give their deer away.
