Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me.
I’m a new deer mother and I have a boy fawn, who’s been pretty healthy for the last 5 weeks we had him. Then he stopped drinking his milk and was drinking more water instead, so we didn’t offer him milk for the last two days. He also loved to go outside for most of the day. Now, he’s down, droopy eyes, I don’t know if he’s tired or if he’s sick. He’s also walking a lot slower than he used to. So today we offered him milk (ultra 24??) and he drank half of the bottle. Wondering if it was dehydration and if there is anything I can do to help him be more lively again?? Also, it seems like he has been regurgitating food and chewing it again, he’s constantly chewing something in his mouth and I can hear his stomach gurgling, is this normal? And last thing, nowadays, whenever he walks his back legs cross, he can’t take a step without his two back legs crossing, is this also normal?
Lmk, Mahalo!
