We kicked off the legislative session today in the House Natural Resource Committee Meeting.  The opposition showed up as usual with even more ridiculous lies and accusations.  At times it was hard to not laugh out loud.  Regardless we had a good showing of deer farmers and preserve owners. We appreciate Shawn Shaffer (NADEFA) for coming to support us and the industry.

We have a good bill. Let's fight to keep HB1453 a good bill as it runs the coarse through the legislative process. Those who don't know their history are condemned to repeat it.

Under a host topic on the National Deer Alliance Facebook page a host post was made and some folks began to try and blame CWD in Missouri on the deer ranchers. I think that the attempt failed. I am not well versed in y'all's situation there but I tried to defend y'all. I know that it is a battle now there too.
