We wanted to announce that Jarrod Washburn has just recently purchased Big Guy from us. Big Guy has definately been one of our most popular bucks over the years. As the demand for the big framed typical buck hit the industry Big Guy's popularity skyrocketed. We absolutely hate to see him go but it is the only way we can make room in our breeding program for some of the nice young bucks we have.

For those who have been contacting us looking to get Big Guy genetics into their herd give Jarrod a call. I know he has an outstanding group of does he plans on breeding Big Guy to this fall.

Jarrod-

Great purchase man, glad you got him....hey does that mean since I was gonna get a live cover to Wesson that you will let me buy one to Big Guy!!?? JK

Word up!

Thanks to all who replied and a special thanks to the Flees family. Everyone knows they don't sell bucks off of their farm very often so I feel blessed that they were confident in me and my program to sell me such a great buck. I am excited to get him to the farm and let him breed some great does.

Not sure if all out there have heard the news about Wesson, but he died earlier this week due to an infection. That unfortunate loss for me ended up with me having to get something done for my farm for this breeding season and I could not be happier than I am to now have Big Guy.

Sorry to hear about Wesson, he looked real nice and big in the photos you posted on here. Was the infection in his antlers? There has been a lot of that this year.

You got's a big time breeder buck again now lets get focus back on pitching. I can't let anyone know I know ya if you keep letting them fly out of the park! Oh no... I meant so you can pay for and not get fired..... LOL(lots of love)

PS-Do I need to email ya to discuss breeding details?????

Jarod ,Congratulations on your Big Guy Purchase ! Now that your farm is ready for the breeding season, Lets win that pennant ! GO TIGERS.

Congrats Jarrod! You have an awesome herd of does that will work really well with Big Guy. As you know Big Guy has sure proven himself to me on my farm:)

Congrats Jarrod !!

I knew that I had heard your name before, just didn't know where. A few of these entries onto this blog allowed me the chance to figure it out. Good Luck with Big Guy and good luck in the post season. I am a RED SOX fan but will be keeping track of the Tigers. We wish you well.

Postseason??!! He didn't go to the twins...so there won't be any postseason!! Sorry jarrod...have to stay true to my roots!!!! Congrats on the purcahse and sorry to hear about wesson.

Again thanks to all for the good words.

And the Twins better win some games to make this even a race!

Can we all see the grown out picture ?

Jarod, What crosses are you planing? Is anything your crossing really got your imagination going on how it will turn out?

We haven't really gotten any good pictures of him this year. Greg said he is cleaner this year than he has been the last couple years. He said he is still the great big framed typical he has always been but won't quite score as high this year due to being so clean.

As far as crosses I am very excited with a lot my does put on him. I have invested in a very good group of does. I have a Maxbo full sister, Primetime full sister, bunch of other great Flees does, 4 Maxin does, Rolex/Maxbo sister, Shadow/Rolex sister, 2 Max/Sadie does, Loner/Maxbo Select womb sister, Energizer 7/8 sister (same pedigree with Rolex doe being sister to Energizers mother), Rolex/Max, 3 Maxbo does, 3 Pa Geronimo does and a bunch of other strong deep pedigreed does. So I am very excited about the crosses that he will get to be put on. I think he will have every chance to shine.

Yeah, I guess I wouldn't complain if I had to use that lineup of does!

You're right...the Twins better start winning...they're breaking my heart the last few days!!!! I'm not giving up hope though!
