Oh litlle Riley I pray you are now at peace with our great Father and pray that your family here on earth can find peace through God and know that you are in a better place now!!

We honor Sam for his fight. We honor Sam more for his victory. 2 Tim. 4:8 "Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me on that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing". Tho' hearts are broken, let's be sure Sam would not want them to be. Psalm 34:18 says, "The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit". Hurt can be a mountain that crushes our spirit. I trust Sam's family will not lose sight of the Lord, for indeed His eyes are upon you and our prayers are with you. May every tear you shed be to the loving memory of your son, and may those memories be brought before the Lord forever.

Scrape.......Sammy is still with us......and he needs your prayers....I believe you got confused with the threads that were concerning another child that had just passed away!! Easy mistake.........Keep Sammy in your prayers!!

I can not tell you how sorry I am. Will everyone, especially the family forgive me. I have been reading this thread and thought the worst. I am going to pray like I have never prayed before for Sam and his family. I couldn't sleep last night very well with things happening in my family and was truly saddened as I thought Sam was the subject. Is there anyway someone in the family could call me and let me speak to them? 903-243-4375...my cell. Too, may the family of the child who lost his battle be comforted by God and may my prayers extend to them. Please forgive me. Ol' Scrape.

Ol Scrape.

You are certianly forgiven i am sure!! It was an honest mistake that any of us could make. I hope things are ok with your family and pray that God will comfort you so you may sleep!!

Thanks, Dennis. right now my family lives in town, not on the ranch. My father-in-law has Alsheimer's. He went into a nursing home today against my wife's wishes. My in-laws live across the street from us and the past two years have been hard for the family, especially my mother-in-law, who herself is 70. My wife of 30 years is hiding her grief, but not very good. I had a "prayer and study" night last night...stayed up 'till 4:am and went to work at 7:30. As I read the post about Riley, I only had Sam on my mind. My father-in-law is a Cherokee Indian and was a medic in Korea and served two tours in Viet Nam. I know he would not want to be a burden on his family but his three daughters have been knocking heads about this decision for nearly a year. My wife and I are raising six grandkids ourselves but my wife wanted her Mom and Dad to move in with us altho' we live in a three BR home. We would have found a way, some how. I am grateful for my friends on this site. I have a testimony coming up pretty soon!! God Bless One and All, Ol' Scrape.

WOW...You have alot on your plate. It was an easy mistake...Don't worry about it.You are truly a great person and God will settle your minds on the hard decision soon, I hope...I know that couldn't be easy either way.

I hope and pray, that all works out for the best, for everyone involved!

Thank you for caring about Sammy!!!

God will bless you for all you are doing and have done, I'm sure!

Ol' Scrape I enjoy your posts!

Take Care...
