Hello,

My wife and I have been strongly considering starting a deer farm in south Western Ohio. I have spent countless hours reading and checking things out. We are planning a few different visits to Farms. I really need to see people's pen layouts to get an idea. If all goes as planned I will have a three acre pen for bucks and two smaller pens one for does and the other surrounded by my processing facility. I noticed Dr. Donley is with in fifteen miles from me and will be our vet. When I start it will be with two or three does of the best pedigree we can afford and from there will have the Lap AI with straws from the best Pedigree we can afford. I will probably only have the first pen done at this time but wanna do it right. Any and all information I can get I will absorb like a sponge. I honestly have read I bet 75% of the post on the forum. Thanks for your time And if ya want somebody to come bug ya and your close enough we will be glad to pick your brains as much as you will tolerate.

Not sure where Waynesville is but we are clients of Dr. Donley and are located south of Canton and would welcome a visit. You can check out our website to see our genetics.

WELL THERE YA GO FIRST MESS UP AND I'M STILL IN THE RESEARCH STEP. SUGAR CREEK APPARENTLY THERE'S TWO IN OHIO AND I'M LIKE THREE HOURS FROM DR. DONLEY..... ERR BUT I WOULD STILL LIKE TO CHECK OUT AS MANY FARMS AS POSSIBLE. AND ALSO IF ANY ONE HAS AN OVERHEAD PICTURE OR A DIAGRAM OF THERE PENS AND HOW THEY ALL CONNECT I WOULD APPRECIATE THAT AS WELL.... Man that's all caps sorry hehehe

Memory Lane,

You are welcome to stop by or call anytime. We just started into the business 4 years ago and received great advice from alot of different farmers. Please feel free to call or stop by. We are located in southeastern Ohio above Marietta. Our number is 740-864-2282. I get that way quite often as our daughter's family lives in Oxford, Ohio.
