Missouri Situation

Senate Bill 506 passed the last hurdle and was voted agreed and passed on a vote of 26 to 0. That bill contains our bill. We won that battle and it now goes to the Governor's desk. Today we are trying to pass House Bill 1326 which also contains our bill. That way the governor can have 2 bills to choose from. They are almost identical. Hopefully that vote will be this morning in the house. We plan to make it a clean sweep.

Everyone told us this couldn't be done in Missouri! They told us the MDC is too powerful and has never been beat. We still need the governors signature and I'm sure there will be many more hurdles but its nice to know that the truth is more powerful than the propaganda!

The MDC threw evertything they had, ethical and nonethical at you AND you prevailed!! Great job! It is so refreshing to be assured we have rights as farmers and landowners in this country! Again, GREAT job at getting the facts to you legislators!! Good to see everyone pulling together! I hope the Governor does the same. Keep up the good and hard work. Rhonda

Does this vote indicate you now have a veto proof majority in both houses?

House Bill 1326 passed the last hurdle and was voted agreed and passed on a vote of 101 to 38. We had 13 absent votes that would have been yes. So this is our second bill in 2 days to be passed with our bill in it. We now have 2 bills on the Governors desk!

Now we go to work on him. I hope he signs it and we don't have to go the veto override route... but we will do whatever it takes!!!
