I think it is great that there was finially a statement put out by NADefa on where they stand ..While I don't agree with everything that has been said on this thread....I think most people are not so much after drama but more so they are scared......and they know the current standards as written today are NOT acceptable.......everyone just wanted to know exactly where NADefa stood regarding this.......I know it was mentioned a few times in the past on these forums that NADefa was for the standards and I think this is why people were upset...........I still don't know why waiting till the end Of the public 90 day comment period to tell them the industry does not agree with the standards is the best plan......why not bring it to the table now? Just asking here not looking to cause a fight.......I worry waiting to long and it might be to late to get the changes we need!? I am also glad to see that with a little push NADefa has decided to help the Brakkes with their fight!

I deleated every post i made on this subject because i have heard so many different things on this subject, I dont know who to believe.
I do know that we all had better support these guys and hope they win this case and we can somehow all get back on the same page. I believe the crap will hit the fan before this is over. I just hope there is something left after it does!

Mike it was good of you to call Tom.......but I think now that you know the truth....that you said would be interesting to find out .....when addressing jerrilee Cave.... as far as the Brakjes are concerned....you should admit that NADefa did NOT offer them any help until just recently when the heat from the membership was coming down on them......the truth will set you free.......it is what it is.....just humble yourself and admit it.....no big deal........

I will say these guys are getting dragged thru a fire that none of us want to see. The bottom line is there is cwd involved and untill the powers that be accept it for what it is, We/They have to deal with it.
We all had better hope they win these cases. Not only is the deer farmer watching this case. Every one of our states Dept of Ag and DEC,DNR leaders have an eye on the same case.
Yes Mike I have said this case is pivotal for the industry in a lot of my previous posts......this is why I was upset that NADefa did not come out and make a statement until last night...I am very pleased they have done so....the membership deserved a response.......and I am even more pleased that they decided to contribute to the Brakkes fight.........every deer farmer can be in their place.......and no one can afford it as it stands......the Brakkes are fighting thank goodness......an it is for the benefit of all the deer farmers.......the whole industry should be backing this fight...because their life (as far as being a deer farmer is concerned) depends on the outcome!!
Let's concentrate on what we can do in regards to the Standards once they come out for public comment. It will take a great deal of work to navigate through them for comparison to Version 22. Thank you all for your support.
