I don't know if every state has so much to work with and our big blizzard that killed 40,000 cattle had anything to do with it but mine only came out to about $15 per deer????

3 months later and still no $$$ we were at our local office yesterday to fill out another paper for EQIP and ELAP lady said they are "upgrading software" before money can be handed out...yeah ok lady

told me that the software had a glitch was trying to send it to the county next to me and he is working on it. Geesh WTH??? I had to get my drought payment through the other county, we are 1 mile from the county line.

We are too far north for EHD and I hope it stays that way!! Something for folks to think about if they are considering starting a deer farm or relocating.
