Wow, for the prices your getting for your shooter bucks, it's hard for me to understand why you would spend so much money on breeder deer. Unless, your supplying the industry with breeders it will be hard to ever make your money back on those deer. This might explain the resistance to re-opening the Texas borders. The day we open the borders our shooter buck prices would drop 60%.

it is no big surprise that the prices are so low.....the economy has effected pretty much every Industry across the board and for us to think it wasn't going to effect our Industry is crazy. People are going to hold back on taking hunts this year and probably next year as well. This is going to lead to a flooded market which is going to make it a buyers market for a while nothing we can do about it except plan accordingly. No one really expected the economy to tank like it has....but it will bounce back as it always has in the past. We just need to hunker down and hang on for the rough ride. Droptine I can't think that you gus in Texas are not seeing a drop in your prices as well...Even with your borders closed. I have talked to many preserve owners it is just a fact that their booked hunts are drastically down.
