Anyone else having problem with the darts? I shot 2 deer today and the dart did not inject the medicine. The deer ran around with the dart hanging out but never even wobbled. These deer usually go down easy. Both had to be redarted.

Yes, we have had and seen several that didn't disperse the medication inside.

Earlier this fall I had 20% of the 1cc darts fail. Caps never went off. I know of several others that have had problems with the 1cc's too. I have ordered more 1cc darts since then and have not had any problems with the new shipment.

I need darts. The wait is forever with pnue dart. My deer will all be dead from old age if I wait. Anywhere else I can get 2 cc darts now?

we will soon be in stock with Pneu-Dart item so if you need anything I am placing my stocking order with them this week. Please email me or call me, thanks

I called pnue dart and they act is if they have not heard of the problem. Call them and voice your concern. At 30 to 40 dollars a shot it is costly when the dart does not work and a load of stress on the deer.

So, as someone who doesn't really know much about deer farming at all (yet is now stuck with a very "playful", headbutt oriented buck fawn), I'm guessing these darts are to shoot medication into the deer? Because at some point I'll probably have to do this, and this sounds like a really safe way to do it until he gets through adolescence and we can clip him.

This is a plug for Henry, I have ordered my darts from Henry for 2 yrs now. Order them and shipped to MIchigan in 2 days. I have had trouble with Pneu-dart direct orders also. Henry is very resonible with his prices and he is one of us also. {raises deer}

thanks guys for the kind words. I do my very best to supply and serve what deer farmers across this great land use and need, if I dont have it i get it only if I can save money for everyone. I started this new business, Streamline Products, Inc. just in December 2010 after the previous company I worked for decided to get out to the deer business which is my passion. I am a deer farmer, not many deer but I do have deer so I understand how expensive things can be which is the reason I started this business. You get what you give and I give my best in this business. Again, my many thanks for your words, they mean a lot to me.

I have too noticed a negative difference on their darts lately, but I haven't had the problem of the dart going off. My problem has been ''havin to use 1/2 to 1cc more on each deer to knock them down than I ever used too. And I believe the problem/difference is one of 2 things: 1- Either the inside diameter of the needle on the dart being decreased has retarded the flow/release of the tranque, or 2- the drug companys are watering down their drugs ie rompum and telazol. Anybody else notice this?

I've had issues with the 2cc darts. The rear of the dart was not crimped on about half a dozen of them. We didn't know why until we started piecing the puzzle together. Loaded with expensive trank cocktail, the dart upon impact would blow out the back sounding like a 22 rifle! On one shot the tail nearly hit me in the eye. I still have a couple uncrimped darts for proof, but just hadn't got time to hash it out with the company! Like its been said, its not only expensive but aggravating to get in range only to be dissapointed! Jason -DCW

Mark i would have to ask what needle length do you use ? I found out years ago mainly in the winter coat stages that i was using all 3/4 inch needles and i was seeing that my deer were not going down very good and started wondering if I`m not getting the xylazine deep enough to hit blood vessels . I went to 1 inch and inch and a 1/4 needles and have not had near the trouble . unless I have a drug head deer ! lol I think we all have a few of them . lol just what i`ve found with deer not going out .
