It might be easier and a shorter if we listed what they don't like to snack on...

Oh well, ours love tomatos and grape vine leaves and yes the occasional pop tart.

If you are in a wooded area you may have vines that climb your trees. These woodvines have leaves about three times the size of your average maple leafs. They are a great calling card to bring them in from long distances.

my guy will climb OVER you to get to a fresh biscuit......and Welchs 100% fruit juice gummy bears

The favorite at our house is by far the little fruit-flavored miniature marshmallows. They will stick their whole heads in the bag to get them. Also, some of the afore mentioned strawberries, apples, pears, grape vine leaves, cucumbers, pumpkins and boxelder leaves. I have even been able to give some of them shots while their head was buried in a marshmallow bag! I grew a 925 pound pumpkin this year and can't wait to see the looks it gets from the deer when they get it. Fun topic Rene, thanks for the posts.

time for some fun around here ! well my guy begs at the table just like my moms doxie does ! but his nose stays planted right by my plate........i tell him,Eat your veggies first ! its cute because he is right about 2 months old.......now 2 years old and we might have a problem........lol

cant wait to see how he does at the fish fry this weekend....hubby makes some mighty fine hush puppies to go along with the catfish !

havent tried the marshmallows yet, but my biscuits will bring him out from wherever he is...... hahahaha

time for the goats to get their fall shots, so i will be out there with treats too....its the only way to go !

I wanna see your pumpkin !!!!!!!! this guy WONT eat it or TURNIP GREENS ! OMG, gardens around here are wiped out from the wild deer, but mine wont touch them . but he has gone down to 2 feedings a day and does eat his hay, feed , grass, and whatever he can nibble out of the dog or cat bowls....I bought him the MAX RACK at TSC and he seems to like it

I give our deer fresh apples and pears daily right off the farm. They especially love the pears.

we are out of season for fresh off the farm here.......but i will pick him up some pears from the grocery store......he does love Gerber baby food...the cereals and the fruits ! :)

I have 30 weaned fawns in one pen waiting for their booster shots and to be separated by sex. All were doe-raised, so naturally, several hang back from the gate while others come right up. Most like the little marshmallows but couldn't get the ones in the back, until now-I took a 4' stick of 1/2" pvc and use like a blowgun. Marshmallows go as far as 20 yards through that thing! Not terribly accurate due to their shape, but it is fun shooting them at the fawns. Funny thing is even the wildest one can get hit anywhere and just blinks, no running...
