Impressive win for the Wild, they outworked Chicago today. When Chicago scored with 2 minutes left in regulation I was thinking.....O No, How could you do that Minnesota!! They had played so well, but overtime was short and sweet for the Wild, what a game. Now its Montreal and Ottawa and later tonight its San Jose and Vancouver, with all this dang playoff hockey on I keep staying in the house and watching it when I should be outside getting farm chores done, lol, and these late night West coast games keep me up past midnight. I have to cancel my NHL Center Ice subscription next year, I am getting too addicted.

Some of the quarterfinal series are wrapping up. Chicago and the Pens both are going to continue, but hats off to the Wild and the Islanders, two young teams that did better than expected and have a lot to build off of for the future. The wild had it rough when their starting goalie went down and out in warm ups of the opening game...but all things considered, they played a VERY strong Chicago team very well. Great first round to watch, and by Monday the remaining first round series will be decided. San Jose made their first playoff series sweep in team history, Pens had my biting my fingernails off, and I cannot wait to watch Detroit and Aneheim game 7 tonight.
I hear Ya Mathew....the islanders certainly gained my respect......they played a heck of a series.......many thought it would be a sweep for the Pens...my self included.....but the Islanders had a different plan in mind.... They are going to be a force to reckon with in the future......heck they already are......I have to say I am always happy when my pens win....but I can't help but feel bad for the team that loses......the islanders worked their butts off........as for the Pens......I went through all my fingernails in the firsts two games........by last night I was down to the first knuckles on each finger.....
LETS GO PENS!! Let's finish it! How about Chicago being down and almost out.....just goes to show anything can happen in the playoffs.......and how about Boston......been a great playoffs so far!!!
Yeah Chicago has dug itself a hole I don't think it can recover from.......wings need to close it tonight and not give the blackhawks any momentum........

Great games. The Pens were awesome in the Sens series.
I think they can handle Boston, not saying its going to be easy, but I am confident they can take them in 5 or 6 games.
Go Wings. I think if the wings win this Chicago series, they will be pretty beat up and tired, its a very physical series.

Man is Chicago going to pull it off...the momentum is certianly in their favor......what a great comeback if they do.....they are a scary team........great series either way...hate to see either team lose.....

Chicago is going to win tonight, I can feel it. They have so much more depth, it just took them a few games to get it going against Detroit.
Oh I wouldn't call them champs yet Ryan....theres a lot of hockey left......and my Pens are definitely in the running.........no I pretty much think they are going to pull ot off and win it all .....Go PENS!
Im with you Ryan, if we can't cheer for the Wild anymore. The Blackhawks better keep winning so we know they got beat by the Champs.
