I know in Ohio they can not get a penny. The dog is unrestrained on your property. We have had it happen. You can actually sue the owner if you can find them. That is ohio anyway.

A fine tuned Browning .204 makes short work of strays for me. But Golden Marlin mixed with a little grape pop is an undiscriminating KILLER ****-cats-dogs-possom you name it one sip of this and they usally don't make it far from the dish!
It comes in a can about like the old oil can that Grandpa used to have to poke a hole in the top of. I put about 5 crumbles in a small hamburger ball and it has worked. In the hot summer i put 5 crumbles in a gallon ice cream bucket and pour a Coke on it. work great!
It is called Golden Maldren....very lethal and kills everything.....even you dog if it gets to it. I wouldn't use this as you will kill dozens of animals to get your dogs. I know you can't be there all of the time or at night but I have seen a neighbor use this stuff for ground hogs and dead ***** and cats were everywhere and no ground hogs. Jim
You can pick fly bait up under many different names at just about any tractor supply or like store. It aslo works great if you have **** or possom problems. A hearty bowl mixed in milk. Just watch becasue it will kill cats etc.

4 years a go i had a dog eventually kill 29 of my deer, 13 mature bucks the first night! I could not find the owner and I did kill the dog. In ohio you may kill any dog that is on your property and so much as looks at your livestock, believe me I have looked into it. The best solution is to shoot shovel and shut up!
Its a shame some people think so little of there neighbors to just let dogs run free! I have been getting alot of dropped off cats, kittens, and dogs here at my farm. I find homes for most of them, and some I keep , beings my kids want to keep everything! But its getting old!

Good point! We consider our dogs part of the family, I wouldnt let my kids run wild nor my animals, maybe obama will appoint a dog czar to address this problem! hehe!
Where we live is the back roads connecting Farrell PA and Youngstown Ohio, which I found out has several dog fighting rings. Last year we started getting abused pit bulls that were no good for fighting and the bait dogs they use. Mean, starved and down right horrible. We are doing them a favor in all honesty.
Just a week or so ago there was a dog that scared our girls as they were going to the bus stop . It left the kids alone when It found a pen full of deer. Needless to say thanks to a Muzzy 100grain broad head..."DOG GONE"
