Doublejacks left drop had been growing at an incredible pace and split into 7 drops. It was too far out and yesterday he couldn't hold it up any longer. :(

Of course it was over 100 degrees. So we got up at 3 a.m. and cut him this morning. It had cooled off to 83!

We had ice water and I.V.s ready again and went to work!

He was much bigger on the ground than I had estimated. He had 60 points and a 27 inch inside spread. He did really well and was back on his feet in about 90 minutes. He looked very relieved. :)

So to lighten up the mood again I hope everyone doesn't mind me using the scoring idea again to have a ONE DAY QUICK GAME of scoring Doublejack. Winner gets a straw of semen. Here are the same rules as before:

1. You have until Thursday July 19 at 5:00 p.m. Central time (6 Eastern) to post your guess here on this thread. All guesses must be posted here. Score must be given in inches including the eights ...for example 412 0/8. Put your name in the post. One post per person. In case of a tie, the first post wins, so check scores to make sure yours is not posted yet.

We will be group scoring the antlers in velvet tomorrow and will announce the score and the winner on Thursday night. Good luck. Here are the pictures..... (I know I look like hell but I worried all night and its 3 in th morning)!!!
